The Team Leader for Production and Development takes over the management in production and in the implementation of development projects. These tasks can include product development projects or related functional outcomes.
This position will also handle the daily routine tasks and support the team in achieving the results and important business goals. The R&D leader will also interact with other team members in China, report to China management on progress on key milestones and risks, and propose mitigation plans.

Ihre Aufgaben :
- Ensuring production processes and training employees in production
- Lead the team in deploying project milestones or functional tasks.
- Management of the daily routine tasks of production
- Leading and facilitating the innovation process by creating innovative solutions for the local market
- Identify key technical issues and lead team efforts to formulate and execute the technical solutions or mitigation plans.
- Active adoption of key technology trends in production and development from the HQ and in the areas
- Advising China management on technology trends and identifying potential risks
- Evaluate competitive products, processes, or new technologies
- Improvement and integration of novel features into existing products/applications to meet the specific needs of the Chinese market (in China for China)
- Collaborate with R&D partners and suppliers for business units in the life science segment and provide technical support
- Inputs/insights from an R&D perspective for BU initiatives
- Mentor, trainer of young talents in the team
Ihr Profil :
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience required or a combination of equivalent training in the field of hospital, nursing, and senior beds
- Proven track records in production and product development or strategic innovation experience are preferred
- Strong English skills in writing, listening, and speaking are required, German is a plus but not a must
- Good cross-functional team leadership/management experience and good interpersonal and communication skills are required
- Basic knowledge in ISO 9001 and ISO 13485
- Project management, prioritization, troubleshooting, and multitasking skills to work within tight deadlines
