Responsibility and compliance

Compliance with applicable law is our highest priority. Transparent business processes, the fight against corruption and fair competition are obligatory for us. We protect the data of our customers and our company, implementing the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Caring actions to strengthen the common good and a discrimination-free environment for all people are goals that motivate us every day.

The Stiegelmeyer Group's high sense of responsibility is evident in many areas:

• Our products meet all normative requirements and are tested far beyond the regulations. Our experts actively accompany the development process of important medical device standards.
• We operate a certified energy management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001. Regular audits by external auditors monitor compliance with legal requirements.
• In the production and disposal of our products, we comply with regulations for the protection of the environment and resources, e. g. the German Solvents Ordinance or the separate collection quota according to the German Closed Substance Cycle Waste Management Act. 95 percent of our wood-based materials come from sustainable forestry. And we deliver at least 95 per cent of our residual materials to the disposal company sorted by type.
• Through digitalisation in our offices and plants, we reduce business trips and save paper. For example, the Stiegelmeyer Group offers electronic invoicing in accordance with Directive 2014/55/EU.
