Image motif with mother and newborn in hospital bed and the lettering "Solutions for people who care", which stands for the Stiegelmeyer Group's solutions in healthcare.
"Solutions" characterise the Stiegelmeyer Group as your comprehensive supplier. This is also what our Solutions logo stands for. The images in the letters follow the human life cycle and show how our solutions promote recovery and well-being from birth to old age.

The "S" symbolises the start of life – and there is no better way to start than with our Jovie baby cot. Immediately after its launch, this beautifully designed model won one of the coveted iF Design Awards in the "Products" category. The iF Award is a renowned German design prize.

High safety with the new children's bed standard

In addition to its appearance, the modern concept behind the Jovie is particularly noteworthy. The first few days after the birth of a child are an exciting and emotional time. During this time, parents and babies need space and support to recover and enjoy the bonding phase. The Jovie was developed specifically to promote close contact between parents and newborns. At the same time, it is the first model of its kind to comply with the new EN 50637 children’s bed standard. The safety of the baby is paramount.

The shape and design of the Jovie resemble a basket with a transparent protective side panel that allows an unobstructed view of the baby at all times. The protective side panels can be lowered effortlessly to create a continuous mattress base that extends to the mother's bed if desired. The height adjustability of the baby cot also contributes to this, allowing it to be adjusted to the exact height of the mother's mattress. Nursing staff and parents can also adjust the Jovie to a height that allows them to change the baby's diaper or hold the baby in their arms for breastfeeding without straining their back.

Many well-thought-out and loving details make the Jovie a very special bed. A slight tilt in the reverse-Trendelenburg position can alleviate reflux symptoms in infants. Head and footboards in the optional colour red are a pleasant sight for babies, familiar from pregnancy. And the standard integrated storage compartment for diapers or nursing care utensils makes everyday life easier.

Joy and relaxation in the family room

As a comprehensive supplier, the Stiegelmeyer Group can also furnish a complete family room in the maternity ward on request. The Jovie can be combined with a modern hospital bed such as the Puro or the Evario. With the electrically adjustable Libra partner double bed, both parents can stay overnight in the hospital with their child. Bedside cabinets, a comfortable armchair for breastfeeding, a chest of drawers for changing diapers and a spacious wardrobe give the family room a high degree of privacy and a special feel-good factor.

Hospitals can thus offer their patients the highest level of comfort in the optional services category and sustainably enhance their public image. And that is exactly what is already happening: Jovie has been an international success from the very beginning. With new accessories, it can now be adapted even more individually to the needs of the wards. The attachable name tag clip immediately identifies the little patient, and a practical transparent basket for everyday items can be easily attached to the lifting column.
