Open communication and whistleblowing management

Human, open-minded, solution-focused – these values shape internal and external communication in the Stiegelmeyer Group. An open culture in which criticism can be voiced at any time and potential grievances can be named is a matter of course for us. Fairness and legal compliance of our trade are laid down in our Code of Conduct. 

All employees, business partners and authorised third parties can contact the executives or the management of the Stiegelmeyer Group in confidence and, if desired, anonymously, if they wish to report grievances, breaches of the law or violations of ethical principles in the company. 

In addition, the renowned compliance expert Dr Carsten Thiel von Herff is available as our organisational ombudsman. As a neutral intermediary, he accepts tips – even anonymous ones – offers his advice and confidentially forwards the information to the company for review. He is a "safe haven" for employees and external persons who want to report violations. He protects their identity and can often already clarify conflicts by providing valuable advice based on his many years of experience. 

Dr. Thiel von Herff acts as the internal reporting contact for all national and international companies of the Stiegelmeyer Group. With this modern whistleblower system, our company implements the requirements of the German Whistleblower Protection Act and its counterparts in the other EU countries.
